SPIDEY'S WEB PAGE

These are some of my favorite Spiderman characters, as shown on their cards.

PUMA

ORIGIN: The product of mystical rituals and controlled breeding , Thomas Fireheart abandoned his Indian tribe and used his warrior skills to begin a career as a costumed mercenary.

POWERS: Puma has superhuman strength enabling him to lift up to 12 tons. He also has enhanced animal senses and is an accomplished martial artist.

COMIC UNIVERSE: Rescued from near death by Nocturne the totally ruthless Puma accompanied her on a crusade to eliminate society's predators, only to be stopped and returned to humanity by Spider-man.

CARNAGE VS. VENOM

THE VENOM FLOWS: When Cletus Kassidy first appeared as Carnage, Spider-man needed Venom's help to defeat him. It was a symbiote-to-symbiote battle, and though were robbed of our chance to break the itsy-bitsy spider in two and chew on his brains, we were able to mangle Carnage and stop the slaying of more innocents!!

COSMIC SPIDERMAN

MY COSMIC SPIDEY

You hear about people facing a crisis and receiving the powers of Captain Universe, but you never expect it to happen to anyone you know. Who would have thought that my already spectacular Spidey would need that kind of cosmic power? At first, Peter didn't know why he was getting stronger, but when the full Unit-power hit him with the truth behind his new abilities, he was able to defeat the Tri-sentinal.

MAN WOLF

ORIGIN: Astronaut John Jamison, on a mission to the moon, found a strange gemstone. After returning to Earth, he discovered that it reacted with the Moon's rays to turn him into a werewolf.

POWERS: The man-wolf has superhuman strength, agility, speed, and heightened senses, such as infrared night vision. His teeth and claws are strong enough to rend metal.

COMIC UNIVERSE: Finally free of the curse of man-wolf, John Jamison took a job as security chief at Ravencroft Institute, a position which has involved him in many dangerous situations.

SPIDERMAN

ORIGIN: Bitten by a radio-active spider, Peter Parker gained the arachnid's abilities. Deciding to use his new powers responsibly, he became the crime fighter known as Spider-man!

POWERS: Spidey has the proportionate speed, strength and agility of a spider, can cling to almost any surface, has a spider-sense which warns him of danger and creates webbing with his web-shooters.

COMIC UNIVERSE: Having faced countless super-villlians, criminal masterminds and other super-powered psychos, Spider-man is now poised to confront his greatest challenge yet: fatherhood!!

FEMALE SYMBIOTE

ORIGIN: As part of a plot to kill super-villian Venom, a normal woman was bonded with a spawn of Venom's alien symbiote costume and gained all of his powers and abilities!

POWERS: With her symbiote, the female symbiote is super-strong, can become invisible, projet a type of organic "webbing", adhere to any surface and mimic any type of clothing.

COMIC UNIVERSE: The female symbiote allegedly sought Venom out to gain advice on how to deal with her alien half. In truth she only wanted the chance to kill Venom for the evil she thought he represented.

SPIDER-MAN DOPPELGANGER

Spider-man Doppelganger is NOT Spider-man!! He is an evil creation who is brought to confront Spiderman and his allies.

Characteristics of Doppelganger

In the comic book novel Spider-man Maximum Carnage Carnage, after a series of fights involving Carnage, Spider-man and several allies of theirs, Spider-man Doppelganger is finally killed by Carnage when he is kicked off of a building.

CARNAGE

DR. OCTOPUS

COMIC UNIVERSE: Waging a private war on his former best freind Peter (Spider-man) Parker, the Green Goblin finally perished due to the side effects of his own strength enhancing serum.
